A native of Red River Parish, Janelle Givens graduated from Riverdale Academy and Northwestern State University, where she was a member of Tri-Sigma sorority. An animal lover with two cats (rescued from the bank as kittens) and a dog, she enjoys time with her family and friends, reading, watching true crime shows, shopping, working in her yard, hanging by the pool—and riding 4-wheelers/side-by-sides.
