You can now add your American Bank debit card to Apple Wallet and Samsung Wallet!

Our debit cards can now be added to Apple Wallet and Samsung Wallet, making it easier than ever for you to enjoy fast, secure, and convenient payments right from your mobile device.

This is another great step forward in enhancing our digital banking experience and providing the modern, convenient services you expect.

Get your card set up with these easy-to-follow instructions!

Add a Card to Apple Wallet (iPhone)

  1. Open the Wallet app.
  2. Tap the "+" (Add) button in the upper-right corner.
  3. Select Debit or Credit Card.
  4. Tap Continue.
  5. Either:
    • Scan your card with the camera, or
    • Enter the card details manually.
  6. Review and confirm the card information.
  7. Complete any verification if requested (text message, email, app approval, or phone call).
  8. Once verified, the card will appear in Apple Wallet and be ready for Apple Pay

Add a Card to Samsung Wallet (Galaxy Phone)

  1. Open the Samsung Wallet app.
  2. Sign in to your Samsung Account if prompted.
  3. Tap Add Card or the "+" icon.
  4. Choose Payment Card (Credit/Debit Card).
  5. Scan your card with the camera or enter the information manually.
  6. Review the card details and tap Next.
  7. Accept the card issuer's terms and conditions.
  8. Complete verification if requested (text message, email, app verification, etc.).
  9. After verification, the card will be added to Samsung Wallet and ready for contactless payments.
